I really love where Fear the Walking Dead is taking us! The journey is going to be amazing.
Looking forward to see what happens in the next episode!
Still not a lot of undead action, but there will be plenty to come. The break down of society is very much how I would expect it and how dooms day preppers imagine it in Fear. However, I would like to think in a society where we spend so much time on social media that even if we were not being told by news broadcasts and government agencies we would still have a pretty damn good idea of what is going on.
Like many critics I want Kim Dickens to be strong lead female, but so far she is doing some stupid things. I cannot understand why she did not tell her daughter what is really happening… She def is representing the lengths a mother will go to for the love of her child.
OK, I was never interested in this show. A few weeks ago, my friend who is currently watching Season 11 told me I should give it a try and since I LOVED ER I thought, “Why not?”
I am so glad I did!
From McDreamy to McSteamy to McDog I love these characters! I have to say Kristina is my favorite but there is something about Alex that makes him run a close second. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
This show actually made me cry twice in Season 2.Once when Preston was in surgery and when Izzy’s love and patient Denny died. It wasn’t that Denny died really, but more the tenderness of the moment when she laid there on the bed with him crying and Alex picked her up and carried her from the room.
I have searched the internet far and wide for predictions on Season 6. Here are some that I found and my thoughts.
1. Glenn will die; maybe the same as in the comics, but maybe in some other fashion. I think that readers who get upset when the show does not follow the comics don’t think about how different TV viewers are than comic book readers. TV viewers are a fickle group. I firmly believe the death of any of the remaining original characters would upset the fan base. Would they quit watching if Glenn died and even if they did would it matter to AMC? I know the death of any character would not make or break my love of the show, but my fifteen year old son has a different thought. He says he will never watch again if Glenn dies. A disappointment to me because while I don’t think it will happen in season 6 I believe Glenn will eventually die on the show and TWD is a great bonding experience for me and my son.(Don’t judge, if you have a teenager you know how hard it can be to find common ground.)
2. The Wolves will play a bigger part on the show than in the comics. I think this is very possible. They did view the pictures Aaron left behind in the walker trap. They may come for Alexandria. We certainly will see them again and I think Enid will play a part because I do believe she may have been with them at one point.
3. Rick and Morgan will fight. I think this is possible; I mean, it has happened before. I don’t think they are in the same place right now. Morgan, being alone means he has not had to do the things Rick has had to do to protect his family; so they may have trouble finding common ground. If that does happen they will find common ground when there is a threat to Alexandria, if Morgan decides to stay.
I love the opening scene and the main character. Nick Damici as Ambrose a blind veteran with a service dog that trusts his instincts and his dog. I was disappointed we lost the dog so soon in the movie!
I don’t want to spoiler anyone!
Other than the main character, Ambrose, the others are quite annoying. His son is a complete asshole. I was hoping at least one other character might be likeable, but it was a no go. I was a little thrown off by a blind man walking around turning on lights.. The werewolves are what one would expect to see in a low budget movie. I never have high expectations of special effects in low budget movies.
I give this movie a 5 out of 10, but if you are a werewolf fan give it a watch.
Emilia and her character look shockingly different, but she is a striking beauty. She is the perfect actress for this part always capturing the sadness and struggle of the young queen perfectly in her expressions.
I am sure most have forgotten about my little dead blog. I haven’t posted in nearly a year. My apologies. Life such as it is has taken up all of my energy. I finished my first novel which is now in the phase of being edited. However, I’m back! I am sure you are overjoyed. This off season I want to explore some other shows, more sexy tv and the evolution of our favorite TWD characters.
What are you watching? What would you like to discuss? Current shows? Shows gone but not forgotten? What’s on you r mind?
